Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Venue: Mount Waverley Community Centre Dress-code: Fancy Dress or Semi-Formal Date: Friday 11th September Time: 5pm-11pm Seating: Limited (so get in fast XP) The Social Night is MCAC's largest event in Semester 2, and is the perfect opportunity to get to know other members of the club! This year we're having a FANCY DRESS theme, so we expect everyone to come along in whatever costume they can scrape together. (This does not necessarily mean cosplay~ so don't fret if you can't think up a character to come as XD). If you can't get a costume, then we ask you to please attend in semi-formal attire. There will be prizes, food and drink (including those of the alcoholic variety), activities and an AWESOME SURPRISE, so make sure you come along. The details for the event are on our forum here: http://forum.claytonanime.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=759 One of the events which we are running will be a "Guess Who" game using pictures of our club members as either toddlers or babies. As such, we need help from our members to send in pictures of yourselves in your youth for the competition. Either send them to the club email (with an appropriate subject heading) or hand them to a committee member who will scan them as soon as possible and hand them back. As of today (which is Tuesday, of course), our Treasurer, James, will be accepting payments for social night. There will be a quick form for you to fill in to help us out with some of the evenings arrangements. Payments will close sometime in Week 8. |
